Hawaiian Rice

Tropical, sweet, savory, and absolutely delicious. That’s what this pineapple rice is all about.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cup basmati or jasmine rice

  • 2 1/2 cups water

  • salt

  • oil

  • whole pineapple

  • Spiral ham

  • ham glaze

  • sweet-and-sour sauce

  • cloves

  • brown sugar

  • cherries

  • chopped fresh cilantro

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring water to boil add salt, oil and Stir in rice, on high heat after the water evaporates reduce the heat m cover the rice

  2. Bring whole pineapple cut it down the middle and gut it out dry the pineapple with a paper towel

  3. Rinse the ham put in the oven add ham glaze sweet-and-sour sauce brown sugar insert cloves place into the oven

  4. Wants rice and ham is ready chop up the ham mix it with the rice in a separate roll put that inside a pineapple and add fresh chopped up cilantro as a finish
